Disclosure of information to Minister of Health
28(1)Despite the applicable provisions of the Right to Information and Protection of Privacy Act, a service provider may, with the approval of the Corporation or of the Category 1 service provider, as the case may be, with whom it has entered into a service agreement, disclose to the Minister of Health personal information, including information concerning the purchase and sale of cannabis.
28(2)The Minister of Health may collect, use and disclose information communicated to them by a service provider for the following purposes:
(a) to conduct research and ensure public health surveillance;
(b) to develop relevant policy; and
(c) to share any de-identified data that the Minister considers necessary.
